来日時に書いてもみた僕のヒーローでもあるDAN TREACYが、病院に運ばれ危篤状態だという情報をご存知の方も多いかと思います。

来日以来いろいろやり取りをしていたTVP'sのMIKEに心配のメールを送ったところ何度目かのメールで少しだけ安心できる情報をもらい、載せてもいいよとのことだったので一部転載を。訳すよりも伝わるかなと原文ママです。
I am so grateful to you and all the Japanese fans who came to the
shows in Tokyo and Osaka. It was a very special time and we all enjoyed
it immensely.
Dan is still not awake..I hope soon.. Between you and me,yes, I have been to visit him in hospital. It's so sad to see him so ill.. Even when he was at his lowest ebb, Dan still had a passion for life, music and people that interested him. He never lost that... I do believe he will recover, but it will be a long, slow path...

一日も早い回復と、一音でもいいので新たな活動が届くことを祈ってやみません。

ちなみに、VINYL JAPANからの震災復興チャリティアルバムに"My Father Looked Splendid In His Uniform"という録音を残してくれているそうなのでリリースを待ちましょう。
